I think this should go here..
Anyway, I've just found out that Yves Rocher don't test on animals (haven't since 1989) and the only animal derived ingredients that are used will be honey or beeswax (which isn't in all products)
I am sooo pleased! So, all their stuff is certainly ok for vegetarians, and a lot is fine for vegans too!

There was a bit of discussion in another thread about Yves Rocher, starting here (http://www.veggieboards.com/boards/showthread.php?p=216659#post216659).

I use the Vegetal line and am extremely pleased. I use their other stuff too. Really affordable and good quality.

I used to order a lot of stuff from them, and also buy products whenever I went/go to France, and if they are as animal-friendly as they sound, I will definately continue, -or rather again start to-, buy their products..
It will anyway be a better choice than the cosmetics I use now, of which most (exept my lip-balm and moisturizer, from Pangea) are from mainstream companies that I know nothing about...

Well, this is just what I found out. I emailed them today with my concerns and they responded very quickly. I've used their products before when I was living in Belgium but wasn't 100% sure of their policies then, and I didn't know I could get their products in the UK until today.
I've always been pleased and I have *really* moody skin..ahh I can be happy again!

I was a Yves Rocher junkie for a long time a few years back. I was never impressed with the facial care or cosmetics but loved the body washes and such. Now I avoid artificial colors, artificial scents, mineral oil & petrolatum, so their products aren't a good fit for me.
I'm glad they are working out for you guys though! It's nice that they are very inexpensive.

I have very sensitive moody skin too. Recently I've been using the Serum Vegetal Day Cream and the Eye and Lip Cream. I've noticed a definite improvement with no irritation. I use their body washes and hair care products as well. I've had expensive products before and Yves stuff is comparable or better in my opinion.
