A group I'm a member of, Michigan Animal Rights Society (http://astrogibs.com/mars/), is hosting a lecture by Tom Regan on March 31st, 2004.

MARS will host a presentation by Tom Regan on Wednesday, March 31 at 7 pm in the Michigan League Ballroom. A book signing will follow.
Dr. Regan (Emeritus Professor of Philosophy, North Carolina State University) is universally recognized as the intellectual leader of the animal rights movement. His book Empty Cages: Facing the Challenge of Animal Rights is being forwarded by the publisher for a Pulitzer Prize and a National Book Award.
