Why Women Date Jerks

The guys who make the biggest deal about being the nice guy usually end up being the biggest jerks. They think that putting on a wimpy nice guy front at first then turning into an anal passive aggressive freak is being a nice guy. Yeah, yeah.. I'm exaggerating a bit. ;)

Why do women date jerks? Good question, indeed.

It depends on your definition of "jerk".

If you mean loud-mouthed, unpredictable, "I'll bet I can scare you"-type males. . .
One might say it is because the "jerk", um, has power, and the women in question want to be with powerful men.

Some females don't want to be around a sensitive, soft-speaking male, because these males aren't powerful to them, and perhaps come across as weak.

No what he is talking about is- men who mess around, cheat, fool you.

and women continue to stay with them and make things work.

Not just cheat. Although that's a big one. In general guys that just don't appreciate what they have because they know they can treat women like trash and then find another one the next night. And why women put up with it.

I am not attracted to women who are attracted to jerks. Because women who are attracted to jerks make me bitter. And besides, if they're attracted to guys like that they probably wouldn't be attracted to me anyway.

Yes, some females are jerks to men.

Some males put up with the horrible actions of their opposite sex, and then "acept them back and whatever".

i think its mostly due to a lack of confidence / self esteem / insecurities ...a 'this is what i always get, so this is what i am, so this is what i will always get mentality and it isn't necessarily a gender thing cuz my last neighbour was an abusive bully to his common-law boi-friend :(
