does anyone know if and to what extent naturopaths/holistic docs, alternative practices in general and herbalists etc are covered by OHIP?
i'd like to see a nutritionist i think but not a traditional one who will tell me to eat meat  there are a couple in town but i can't afford to pay if it's not covered. hopefully i'd like to see someone who can tell me what alternative therepies i can try for a few things also, wether it's homeopathy or herbs or whatever so long as it's not pill-popping
so yeah thanks

Naturopaths aren't covered by OHIP, but I'm not sure about a nutritionist.
You can go to this site and call your local office to double check.

None of those services are covered by OHIP. :( Sorry. Although private insurance does cover most of those services.

Have you considered going to a dental school? Usually the rates are a lot cheaper but the care is good because the teacher overlooks everything.

In know the dental school at UWO in London is really inexpensive. I've had friends go there and were really pleased with the work that was done.
