Intrigued yet? ;)

If you thought it was bad when your parents finally told you there was no Santa Claus, wait until you hear this. I was shocked. How could my parents do this to me?!!

And so the story unfolded...

Once upon a time Gnarly and her family went for a drive in the country. It was a very nice day, but Gnarly didn't really notice because she was reading her book while they drove. This is the reason she didn't notice where they were going, and when the car pulled up to a shed on a farm she had absolutely no idea where they were.
"Where are we?" she asked innocently, never dreaming of the shocking secret she was about to learn.
"We're at Vineargos."
"What?" (still in blissful oblivion)
"A fruit grower - they're really cheap."

WHAAAAAAT!??
A fruit grower? A *cheap* one? Really close to my house? That my parents knew about?
WHY WASN'T I INFORMED!!!!!!!
My Mother always said I couldn't be a raw foodist because fruit and vegies are too expensive and we don't live near a farmer's market or anything.
Well, Houston, I think I just found the anything.
I got over the shock pretty quickly when it became clear my parents were going to buy pretty much whatever fruit we wanted.

We got watermelon, grapes, apples, peaches, nectarines, a few types of plums, some pears... No bananas unfortunately. Yummers.
So I've been raw for the past couple of days. Won't completely switch over just yet though... Have to use up my tofu and stuff.

So.... I just thought I'd share that discovery with you all, and let anyone who's even th slightest bit interested know that th chances of my becoming a GRV (Gorgeous Raw Vegan :D ) in the next few months has risen considerably.

Bodacious!!

Yup, went back today and picked up another watermelon, some sweetcorn, apples, nectarines, tomatoes, plums and grapes.
I'm a happy little vegan. :D
