They have egg whites in them, but they aren't - like - made OUT OF egg whites :)
I love them, and I eat them (I call mystlf lacto-ovo though, and things like Morningstar products is why)
I also like the moringstar chikn nuggets very much (though I don't like their buffalo wings - too spicy for me)

I just microwave them. I suppose you could bake them but I prefer mine within 1 minute

Try the "Health is Wealth" brand chicken stuff, it rocks. OR, just buy Trader Joe's Soy Nuggets, way cheaper and tastes just as good IMO. Health is Wealth also makes real chicken stuff, and some of you may have seen a thread here a while back about how they accidentally put real chicken nuggets in the soy boxes...and had to recall them. YUCK!
Anyway, the soy nuggets are vegan, and are my favorite when it comes to breaded chicken-soy.

I don't think I've ever seen that brand, is it a health food store only type of thing?

OMG, I LOVE the Chikn Nuggets. I will occasionally sneak a few when the BF has made some O=). When I used to eat them, I liked to dip them in Ranch Dressing.

I love the Morningstar Chik patties :) I get best results pan frying them but usually I'm too lazy and just pop them in the toaster--it works amazingly well!

I bake them in the toaster oven. It makes them crispier.

I've only seen Health is Wealth in Health Food Stores. But it is yummy. I've tried TJ's soy nuggets, too... I personally find Health is Wealth to be a little better. Plus, they've got buffalo wings. ;)

Oh, and about cooking the morningstar patties... I'm vegan, and don't partake. But my roommate recently had some, and apparently was having some issues getting the microwave to cook them satisfactorily. She just put them in the oven on a cookie sheet.

They are definitely best when baked...less soggy.
They taste better than Boca's chik pattie and are less greasy too.

Question about Trader Joe's Soy Nuggets--I worked at a TJ in Cambridge 2 years ago and loved the soy nuggets in the yellow box. But when I went to a TJ in Arizona this last summer, they only sold a new kind of TJ nuggets--breaded and greasier. Does anyone know what the deal is with that? Was obviously a completely different kind of nugget than the ones that come in the yellow box.
