I went to Whole Foods today and they had samples set out of these bars called Larabars. I asked the man what was in them and he said just fruit, nuts, and cocoa in one of the bars. They all have under 6 ingredients and they are made with nothing but raw ingredients. They are sooo delicious! I tried each one and Whole Foods and I bought 1 of each flavor. They are a little pricy, 1.99 each, but they are totally worth it!

They sound great!! I wish I had gone over to Whole Foods today, but hopefully they'll have samples out tomorrow (sunday= sample day :-D)

I hope you enjoy them!

They ROCK! I especially love the apple pie kind and the cherry pie kind. They are so delicious!

I realize that this thread is over a year old, but I'm posting anyway because I LOVE LARABARS!!!!!! The chocolate coconut kind tastes more like a brownie than any of the cooked vegan brownies I've tried. Mmm, larabars

I think the chocolate ones are weird tasting, and I don't like the cashew ones much. But set me up with an apple pie larabar and I'll be very, very happy for a little while...

I love them all. I actually got inspired by the chocolate one and started making my own [to save the $1.99].

I've never seen the banana cookie one! Cherry pie is my favorite. Now if I can only get the co-op to carry them regularly...

I've only tried the Apple Pie and Chocolate coconut chew. I like the flavors a lot, but they ARE a little expensive, which is why I don't buy a lot of them regularly. They're also a bit sweeter than I like, but for an occasional energy booster, they're great. I DO like the fact that they're raw and have a minimum of ingredients. Much better than all those other energy/protein bars, IMO.

I tried the apple pie one today and it is great and not funky tasting like other 'energy bars' - they were on sale at my WF 2 for $3.00. I don't know if WF sales are regional or not but I thought I would give the heads up.

Just a tip for Canadian folks out there, you can get the "perfect 10" bars instead. They're the same thing as Lara Bars (only fruit and nuts), but cheaper since they're not imported.

I like the chocolate ones best--they taste like brownies. The Cashew Cookie doesn't have much flavor. The Cherry Pie is way too sour for me.

DON'T PAY $2 per bar. Trader Joe's has them for $1.49 every day.

i bought the banana one to try last night.

$2.19 at my local co-op, so i dont think i'll buy them often whether i think they're good or not! clif bars are only $1.29.

You folks see more flavors than I do, though a peppermint one cost me only 99 cents at Trader Joe's yesterday.

I typically find them at $1.49, too. So that seems to be a good deal compared to the $1.99 I've been seeing.

I love these, too. Just wish they were more filling.

I don't like the cherry ones but the others are yummy. :lick: I have to order them on-line though, which is a pain.
