i just saw some of Pamela Anderson's shoes from her new line, in a magazine, all i can say is :drool: they are fantabulous. the article said that the line was animal friendly. i would say that they are mid to upper priced as far as shoes go(tall pink "suede" boots were 99 dollars). for those who are curious, the article was in my mom's smutty Star magazine :sick: i still think it was nice of her to point it out to me

the date on it is oct 25th. the main head line is "Hollywood hair disasters" :think: its on pg 30. but it says "all styles available at select Bakers and shoesunlimited.com unless otherwise noted" it doesn't say what the name of the line is, so i am assuming its named after her.

I'm SO excited to get my Veggie UGGs (http://www.alternativeoutfitters.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=288)! I've been waiting to long to find some, and they're so beautiful :D and a good price too!

EDIT: Uh oh, haha, my mom just came in and I said "Look at these boots I'm going to buy eventually/ ask for a Christmas Present" and she gave me the "I already got you something similar to that." look, because I had looked at a pair of them in the Sears catalog, except made with real "shearling" because I thought that Veg ones didn't exist ANYWHERE. (Though I'm very sure I would've decided against them because they're gross.) I'm hoping they're returnable, plus I think these are cheaper too!

i think they may run a little smaller. my normal size is an 8 but i also can wear a 7.5 sometimes too..i got the boots in 8 and they do seem a tad smaller , but i put thinner socks on and of course that helped. i think they may run a little narrow , also. mind you , they are extremely warm and comfy either way, i think they just need to be worn in and naturally stretched out to match my feet :)i loe em, i'm just scared to get them dirty, heh.

i looked a bunch of diff. places for them, and 100 bucks is the normal price, yikes! but ah well...

Once Zappos gets my size in, I'm going to be getting a pair of these, so thanks so much for the info!

In the meantime, I just ordered these in black from alternative outfitters. I'm not a pom pom girl, so those will be coming off. Then they should look sweet. :)

Hey funk- I just got those boots in the mail today! I haven't tried them on yet, but they look super sweet. Did you get the bark or tan ones? I got the bark.

As far as moccasins go, I've never seen any that aren't leather. :(

the ones i got said 'beaver' - they are more tan, but seem a darker coolor than the tan. i don't know if places call them different colors or if there are actually three different colors...all so interesting.and i dont know if that made any sense...i love the shoes though :)

hm, also, villageshoes advertises them as ' vegan society certified.'

can we say false advertising, then? i'm so mad about this. i emailed them (politely, heh). i'm curious what they say back. i'm past the 15 day return policy but if they have any soul they'll still let me return them.

I'm pretty sure that villageshoes is the website that I saw where they were advertising the beaver color as vegan. I did write to them, but a week later noticed that they haven't changed it. Jerks. They'd better give you your money back!
