I bought a bottle of Method dish soap at Wegman's yesterday. I had never heard of them before. The bottle said "not tested on animals" and the ingredients appeared cruelty-free so I bought it. I went on their website today (www.methodhome.com) and sent them an e-mail asking them about their ingredients. This was their response:
Thanks so much for taking the time to write to us regarding our products!
method contains no animal-derived ingredients in any of its products. You
can find more information by going to PETA's Web site at www.peta.org.
method is listed in their Caring Consumers' Shopping Guide as a vegan
product.
Hope that information is helpful. If you have any other questions, please
do not hesitate to contact me directly. Take care and have a beautiful
week!
They make spray cleaners, dish soap, and hand wash. I hope they eventually add clothes detergent to their line. They list the stores they're available at on their site. What I like is that they're available at some mainstream department stores/supermarkets, including Target.
