I am trying to locate a retailer in the Dallas area that sells the Vegan Gourmet Cheese. Anyone living in the Dallas area know where I can find it? I know I can order it off the website, but the shipping for ordering four packages is more than the cost of the product. I'm afraid to order more than four packages as I don't know if I will like it (I think I will as many people rave about it on this board) and I'm afraid we won't eat it all before it goes bad.

BTW, does anyone know how long it keeps or if you can freeze it without ruining the taste or texture?

They have lots of info on their site: http://imearthkind.com/

If you read the FAQ they say:
What is the shelf life of VG cheese? The shelf life of our cheese is 120 days. They can be frozen, shredded, but we do not recommend freezing the whole blocks as the texture changes and becomes softer (not as good for slicing and shredding).

There is a search engine thingy on some site to find a distributor near you, but now I'm not sure where it is....

I just bought some of the mozerella about a week and a half ago and it has brown spots on it now.I am not sure if it has gone bad or if I can just cut the spots off.I am kind of mad because it was expensive and I haven't had it that long.Do you think it is still good?

Well, with real cheese if you get mold, you're supposed to cut half an inch (or an inch?) around the mold, because it's actually deeper than the visible part. But I don't know.
