Sometimes we banish away from us those we cannot handle in our lives at that time: Those we love, but cannot afford the expense of the love for its heavy cost in the currency of both time and money.

But sometimes our love does not forget, but comes back to fill the void left in its wake. Such a time is now, as I return my two true loves to my world...

I thought I was the only person (at least here in DE) to own and use a turntable. Do you know where you can get new needles (not that I need one, but it's good to know)

Holly - I buy everything only (DJmart.com tends to be the best prices). Only brick-n-morter I know anywhere near here is Armand's on Chestnut in Center City.

Thanks! We went for so long without being able to listen to all of our old vinyl because our needle broke :cry: Last year we ended up getting a whole new stereo because we couldn't find new needles :doh:

Why doesn't someone devise a device that will bounce laser-beams or even ordinary light, off the grooves in (pressed copies of) stylus-incised-vinyl disks, and get a reading from them without requiring a physical (diamond) stylus?
