Hi, I work at a sports store so today after work i tried on some running shoes because i need some now..its been 4 years since i bought new shoes.Anyway I tried on some new balance 806's and the size 10 was too small, so i tried on the 11's and they were too small too. OMG, i wear a freakin' 12 shoe:eek:...and apparently i've grown an inch and a half. Is it normal to have a growth spurt at 20? I didn't think that I would get any taller but i'm taller than my mom now and she is 5'9....

well im just a high school student, but ive heard from a lot of places that we are still growing at 18, and i think the stopping point was mid 20s? but ya, i think it would be perfectly normal to grow :D

Well, guys stop growing after girls - I think I grew a little when I got to college, but was probably done by 18 or 19. Guys don't stop growing till at least 21!

You'd better hope your feet don't get too much bigger, past size 13 and you'll have a really hard time trying to find shoes!

I doubt it, but my great grandma was 6'0 and wore a size 12 shoe.I could always go to a men's size. But they look too guyish...omg, if i have kid's they'd be giants.

My daughter wears size 11 (sometimes 12 depending on the cut). She is 15 years old. She also had wide feet which makes buying shoes for her very difficult (especially since she wants all the latest teenage styles on the market).

OK - calm down. Let me tell you something. I wear a size 10 shoe. Sometimes 10's are a tad small, but, overall, I have no problems finding 10's that fit me in regular shoes. About 6 months ago a went to by a pair of running shoes and a pair of cross trainers. I have ALWAYS worn a size 10 sneaker, but this time none of the 10's fit. Neither did the 11's. Nope, I had to buy size 12 women's athletic shoes.
I believe that the sneaker manufacturers have changed the sizes of women's athletic shoes and that they are much smaller.
Go to any decent department store and try on a few size 10 heels and other shoes. You probably still wear a 10. Why the sneaker manufacturers have done this, I have no idea, but I am living proof that it is happening.

I went to a department store today...just to check the dressy shoes. I tried on a few and they were size 11 and fit perfectly. So I guess i've grown and the manufacturers have changed the athletic shoes. But I'm not that i'm not the only one here that has the problem with shoes.Even the heels that I bought last year are way too small and they're a 10.5...oh well. I just have huge girlie feet  :D
Thanks everyone!
