has anyone had these? i got them at my local health food store as stocking stuffers (chocolate cowboy cookies for my boyfriend and ginger snapdragons for me) and i have mixed feelings. The chocolate on the cowboy cookie is the best chocolate i've ever had but the cookie itself is kind of dry, and the ginger snapdragon is beautiful looking (it has crystallized ginger in it and lots of big sparkling sugar crystals on the top) but after the first bite each bite got progressively saltier tasting (reminding me of the time my sister made biscuits with willow run instead of unsalted butter and they tasted like alum). i have to eat it by taking a tiny piece every few hours, which could be for the best as each cookie has 15 grams of fat. they're also sort of pricey.

I saw them for the first time this weekend. I bought the cowboy and cowgirl flavors. I haven't tried the cowgirl yet, but I liked the cowboy. It was by far the best pre-packaged vegan cookie I've ever gotten at a health food store. I see what you mean about it being sort of dry, but I think that's because they put too many nuts in it. The cowgirl doesn't have any nuts (which is good), but doesn't have the chocolate coating either, so I hope I like them.
