Vegan Aspirin/Other Common Remedies

I think I can usually tell by the ingredients (I hope :)) which remedies do not contain animal products, but I don't know which companies are cruelty-free. Can someone please tell me which OTC remedy companies do not test, or if there's some products that definitely contain animal parts?

It doesn't matter whether I use acetaminophen or ibuprofen.

I remember hearing that in the US it's the law that all medications, prescription or not, must undergo testing to be approved by the FDA. (Although generics might be exempt from this b/c the brandname version is already been tested.) I could be completley wrong about this, though.

Hmmm... That's interesting. Brilliant doctors who can't seem to conduct a test without torturing animals. It just doesn't seem right.
