The one you would hate to do without. My favorite right now is "Peaceful Patchuli" bath gel, by Kiss my Face, love it :smitten:

My lavendar Big Kiss soap bar from Kiss My Face, although I would hate to part with any of their products that I buy. :) I must admit, I'm a Kissmyfaceaholic.

I had a bad experience with a Kiss My Face product and haven't had the nerve to try any more since then.

I would hate to do without my Origins Ginger Burst shampoo. (I'd hate to do without any of my lovely Origins items...mmm, Origins...)

I love pretty much anything from lush(http://www.lush.com/), lots of their stuff is vegan and they label what is, everything smells so good! I only wish it was a little cheaper!

When I want to treat myself, I get a bar of Zum soap -- the sandalwood/citrus scent. Mmmm

My Nature's Gate tea tree lotion. I have dry skin and the cold weather is brutal on it but this stuff REALLY works for me. I :smitten: it. Smells good too, understated, minty goodness.

Run, don't walk to your nearest health food store and buy the lavender herbal salt scrub by Sunshine spa. It's basically sea salt and moisturizing and essential oils that you use in the shower. It exfoliates AND moisturizes! Wow!

I just discovered Lush! I got their tea tree and lemon solid deodorant and it smells amazing. My whole room is scented by it now. I also love The Original Source Tea Tree and Lemon shower gel, it really wakes me up in the morning. I'm a bit of an addict of lemon scented things.

Right now, mine is spa cosmetics aloe moisturizing cream...It smells really great and has dead sea minerals in it as well...I really like it a lot...It says on the box that it's not animal tested, so I am really hoping that it's cruelty free, too...:D

Oh, wow. I'm already addicted to bath products (as well as body ones, like lotion.) I really didn't need to see the Lush website. I already have 5 bars of soap and at least 10 kinds of lotion! Let's not even talk about shampoo and conditioner..

BTW, I really love Avalon Organic Tea Tree Mint shampoo and conditioner.. and some seaweed based soap I have made by Reviva Labs. For lotion, I love Jason's Glycerin and Rosewater.

Ceryna does Origins have shampoo for oily hair?

Can anyone suggest a cruelty free antiperspirant? I find the deodorants, but is there and antiperspirants as well?

Mine is Clean Habit soap. http://charitycam.org/yodelsoap/ If I HAVE to pick one scent...Gingersnap Cookie. It smells sooooo yummy! I also love their lip balms, Chocolate Orange is my fav.

I can't be 100% sure of it's vegan-ness because I haven't contacted the company myself, but I read somewhere on VB that Mitchum anti-perspirants are vegan. That's what I've been using since I read that. I know they are definitely not animal tested, anyway (they're made by Revlon).

pinknixon,

I have oily hair by nature, but I also color it, so finding something that will clean deeply without totally stripping the color is something of a challenge. The Origins Ginger Burst does a great job! And it smells divine. :smitten:

Mitchum is vegan. It's the only one that works for me in the summer months when I'm active. I wish it was natural, though. :-/

Origins White Tea Guardian. Now that I've been using it for about a year, I'll never ever give it up. They'll have to pry the little pump bottle from my cold dead hand. It's a light serum that protects your facial skin against pollution and such. I have a touch of rosacea around my nose and this stuff works better than the prescription steroid cream I've been using for years. Plus, it makes your skin look really great; softer and it seems to combat wrinkles. Love it!

BTW, I figure this is a good place to ask.. I have moderately coarse/curly hair that is also very very long (about my waist.. but i'm 5'10 so we're talking a few feet here) and dry. I was wondering if anyone had any (vegan) suggestions on:

1. A really good, thick, moisturizing conditioner.
2. A good leave-in conditioner
3. Some kind of strong holding mousse/gel

Galatea, my husband has hair like yours. It's very thick and long and curly, it's also mostly grey, which is a color that tends to be very dry. He likes Jason's Kelp conditioner for dry and damaged hair (I use it too, it works well). Giovanni makes a good leave-in conditioner, and although it's a wax rather than a gel/mousse Jason's Stuck-Up Hair Wax works really too. All are vegan.

This is my favorite, too, also known as Nature's Gate Skin Therapy Lotion.

Quizeen,

Thanks! I'll try those suggestions ASAP. I got Jason's gel.. it works quite well so I'm happy with that so far.
