Clinique is owned by Estee Lauder - Estee Lauder created it to specifically target people with "problem" skin, whereas Estee Lauder is more for people with dry and/or aging skin. Neither test on animals of course, but I remember someone saying on here Estee Lauder does use animal ingredients, which is something I can't verify since I'm not really familiar with what to look for. I don't know about what Clinique tends to use in their products. (I'm a big Estee Lauder user and love their moisturizers! Unfortunately I can't afford them too often right now :D )
