I was just on the web site looking to order some stuff and I noticed something that was weird. All the stuff I looked at said"as always our products are free of animal ingredients".But than I was looking at the lip balms and they had beeswax in them and there was a different statement, something like they didn't test on animals. Why would they say"as always"they didn't use animal ingredients when the lip balm does? That seems like a misleading thing to say.

Hmm, very fishy. I don't like those inconsistencies.

They do have a FAQ on their website that lists all the ingredients that aren't vegan. I really wish they wouldn't state things like that, though. It is misleading.

I love the title of this thread!!

I have seen such things too, with other companies. Some people obviously don't consider beeswax an animal product.

Once I bought a shaving gel from Alba Botanica. It said "Against Animal Cruelty", which I assumed would be a blanket term for no animal testing AND no animal ingredients. Then I noticed that another product of them had explicitely "No animal ingredients" on it. I'm not Mr. :notvegan:, but I got curious and went through the ingredient list and one chemical was indeed made out of wool. I threw it out because I don't want any sheep stuff on my face when I'm shaving.

Now I look better before I buy, either for the product explicitely saying that it has no animal products or the "bunny" stamp.
