i personally love the poppy seed n lemon ones as well as the pumpkin spice cookies. theres a lot of calories in these but its so hard to just eat one. kinda pricey at 1.99 each considering you can go to a supermarket and get cookies with dairy and animal products in them for much less. why is that?
boston cookie makes good one as well, although i have only seen a chocolate chip one.
Now I'd only would like to know what kind of sugar they use :lick:

well heres the ingredient list for my favorite, the lemon poppy seed cookies:
Wheat flour enriched (niacin, reduced iron, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), malted barley flour, organic unrefined cane sugar, fruit juice and natural grain dextrins, non-hydrogenated vegetable blend spread (natural oil blend-soy, palm, canola and olive oils: water, salt, natural flavor, soybean lecithin, lactic acid*, vitamin A palmitate*, and beta carotene color), poppy seeds, natural tapioca and potato starches, natural leavening (aluminum free baking powder and soda), pure lemon, natural vanilla, sea salt
*Not dairy derived
looks like the sugar is all good!

You ain't just whistling Dixie, carnelian. Uncle Eddie's are the best cookies ever! The peanut butter choco chip ones rule.

there is NO WAY any of those are better than these:

:p
Uncle Eddie's used to be my favorite, then something happened. They seemed to get too dry, and too sweet. I was fawning over them in front of a friend, so we went and got some, and they were very unimpressive. Uncle Eddie's let me know. Had the ABC cookies recently. They were pretty good, but I wasn't instantly infatuated. I'll have to try New Moon Kitchen.
AFTER finishing off the batch of homemade Tofu House Cookies from The Art of Tofu cookbook. They're pretty good, but I don't recommend using Rapadura instead of unrefined cane sugar or blackstrap molasses instead of light molasses. Not as sweet as it should be, and the blackstrap makes the cookies taste too much like gingersnaps!
The Planet Smoothie near my office also has Alternative Baking Company cookies, and I often get them along with my smoothie. (Planet Smoothie has many dairy free offerings, although I do have to request that they make it without the "Blast" because I don't know what ingredients are present in those little powdery thingies they add.)
My favorites are the oatmeal raisin, peanut butter, and pumpkin spice cookies. The snickerdoodle is okay, but Kreeli's vegan snickerdoodles are much better.
Alternative Baking Company cookies are quite good. :lick: I've yet to try Uncle Eddie's, though. Mmm, cookies. Now I's got me a hankerin'!
I've got to try Kreeli's recipes, too.
