My mom just bought me some tofu called more than just tofu by sungeria soyfoods and I was wondering if anyone had tried it beore. It looks good but its a totally new product to me. I've never heard of it before, has anyone else?

You probably mean Sunergia:

Their chorizo is quite good . . . as are the other two sausage varieties I've tried.
I just bought some curried tofu (I believe they call it "Spicy Indian") to mix in with a lentil curry I'm making, but I haven't done it yet.

Seems like a pretty cool company to me-it hasn't been swallowed up in the consolidation that has swept the natural foods (and almost all other) industry . . . yet.

I've had that. It tastes good. Alot of flavor, although it could use some more salt in it, I think.

I've never seen their products in stores, but their website is really funny.

8-23-01 We make first delivery to new distributor, Tree of Life, Southeast of St.Augustine, FL. (Who serve from Florida North to Virginia, and from Florida West to Louisiana). We're told this is Dairy Queen Country in none too polite a manner. We tell the burger goons that they're lucky we practice non-violence.

I have seen the tofu, but not the sausages which is really weird considering they are based in Charlottsville, Va. (I live in Va.) I would like to try the sausages and I think once I bought the tofu, but I never ate it. I should try it again. Shannon

Yeah thats what I meant to say. I'm not a good speller or typer so when the two are combined together it often results in things like this!!

I'm going to try the Italian Herb one tonight! I'm very excited!!

I had the spicy indian 'more than tofu' yesterday. It was really good crumbled, sauteed and mixed with lentils and rice. It definitely had more flavor than most of the pre-seasoned tofu products I've tried.
