as some of you may know american has left VB...

is this a good thing or a bad thing?

i think its a good thing. i dont see why omnis that have no intention of becoming vegetarian are allowed to stay and post at a vegetarian forum.

and i definitely dont think they should be allowed to spout off glorifying hunting and meat eating, etc etc

what draws omnis here in the first place? a desire to cause havoc?

one omni VB member is constantly giving out health and nutritional information and advice with no data to back it up, and quite often this info has promoted meat eating

what are your opinions?

I think if they're spouting off about how grand their omni diets are, they should go.

I don't like to comment on these things but we were monitoring the situation and working out how to best handle it. In the end he made it easy on us and asked to be removed.

As for the "a few to go" I don't like that at all. We have several long time omni's who are cool people, genuine friends, and never cause any trouble on these boards. A couple of them are very good friends of mine and to me they are as welcome here as any of you.

I'm sorry but I'm going to close this thread because I don't want people to feel as though they're not welcome. If anyone has issues with a particular individualy please feel free to pm the mods.

Thanks for your understanding.

I'm opening this thread briefly so I can make a quick point.

I watched the first version of VB be nearly torn apart because of some members constantly asking for the exclusion of other non-disruptive members.

All I can say is get over it. If someone is violating the rules, then report the posts and let the mods handle it.
If you just don't like them, put them on ignore.

However, posts asking for board "cleansings" are not acceptable.
