I've just moved to preston in lancashire from newcastle, and i am looking to find my local animal rights organisations, can anyone point me in the right direction? I know that there is the anti-snaring campaign, and alos anti-fox hunting....other than that, i am at a loss!!
Dammit, Preston is only down the road. Hell, the sh*tty ass local radio station is based in Preston. (Rock FM, home of the repeat workday, where you're only three songs away from the song we just played.) And the Preston accent is really weird as well. They all strech words like "chair" and "spare" and "there" and it sounds weird.
Anyways, I'm not actually sure there is much in terms of animal rights activism in the north west of england. there's bound to be a few groups. Hell, there's always a couple of ARA's who set up a table in Blackpool every saturday, but other than them, I'm not aware of other animal rights organisations.
My advice it to get onto google and see if you can find a group nearby. The best bet would be a manchester-based group. There's bound to be at least one.
