Boston-based Tiny Trapeze Confections, known for its delicious and naturally pure and simple sweets, introduces the newest addition to its line of artisinal confections, All-Natural Vegan Marshmallows.
Made in small batches with pure, real ingredients, these intensely delicious handmade, hand-cut marshmallows contain no animal products. With ingredients such as organic rice syrup, naturally milled organic cane sugar (no bone char refining of course), the highest quality pure vanilla extract, and vegetable-derived gelatin, they are also gluten-free and fat-free. To top things off, they taste just the way marshmallows are supposed to taste.
Creating a vegan marshmallow with truly delicious taste and light texture was no small challenge, according to Tiny Trapeze founders and owners Ayis Antoniou and Suzanne Lombardi.
“In response to intense interest from vegetarian consumers who could not enjoy our traditional marshmallows, we set out to develop a vegan marshmallow that would also measure up to our standards for flavor and texture”, said Ayis Antoniou. “After months of trying different recipes and ingredients, we finally developed a vegan marshmallow that we can proudly put our name on.”
“These are wonderful, light treats that can be eaten right out of the bag or used in any dish that calls for marshmallows. They’re delicious toasted over a fire, dunked in hot cocoa, and they make terrific S’mores. We’re very excited with what we’ve created”, added Suzanne Lombardi.
