I'm located in New Britain and have spoken to several local business owners about stocking vegan products. I wonder if we all begin to work on this and than list participating businesses online will it increase vegan options across the state? New York, LA, and even DC have good options, but CT has a ways to go.

List restaurants you know that carry even something as simple as soy milk so locals in your town know where they can have coffee *_^
I'll update in the top post when there are replies.
You can also see about having them listed in
Greenpeople.com's directory.

Businesses stocking vegan options in CT:

Tea and Leaves
59 West Main street New Britain
Now carrying Soy creamer ^_^

The Underground Deli in the CCSU eateries, New Britain
Expressed interest in stocking vegan deli options.
He's been made aware of Vegenaise, and other vegan delights.
The more business that comes through the more he'll likely stock.

No longer available:
FruttiKrem on Arch street (New Britain) did agree to stock Vegenaise, Follow Your Heart cheez and Soy powdered creamer, but there wasn't enough business, and she closed down over the summer :(
