Hi! So i need a job for a few months and i have decided i want to set up a market stall at the organic markets. As a vego and complete novice to all of this market business i am a bit unsure as to what to sell. I have done a bit of "market research" (excuse the pun!) and the market already sells good quality breads, fruit and veg and nuts. I was thinking maybe pulses and beans, also i thought pre-packaged vego food - flavoured couscous, yummy tofu etc, but it would have to be organic.
(anything i cook myself is not worth selling!)
Any creative ideas would be very appreciated!

How about prepackaged bean and spices. Many people do not know how to cook beans. They only know how to open cans and pour the bland things into a pan to warm up. Maybe you could offer samples and sell a relatively cheap product at a good mark up. Good luck!

The kettle corn booth at my local farmers market always seems to do well.

How about custom gift baskets with chocolates, truffles, peanut brittle, vegan gummi bears, etc. You could have a few already made. You could even do some theme like sugar free baskets or gluten free.
