And so the scheming begins...

November 7th will be our Second Annual Pre-Thanksgiving Vegan Thanksgiving Potluck!! There's a thread around here somewhere about last years... Anyway, this is a FULL Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings and pie as far as the eye can see! The awesome part? No animals were harmed in the making of this meal!!

The event will be held at Chez Rabid Child in Latham, NY, which is in between Albany and Saratoga. We'll start at 2ish and party til we have to be rolled out the door. Overnight guests are welcome if you're traveling from a longer distance.

We've got a facebook group going for our potluck goings ons if anyone is interested in following the larger group, let me know, and I'll give you the info... or you can just post here. We have a great crowd of really friendly people, and awesome cooks, and lots of laughs, and leave with full bellies and tupperwares full of leftovers, so don't be shy, come on over and tuck into some tofurkey with us!

If you plan on coming, please:
1. RSVP! We like a head count!
2. Let us know what you're planning on bringing. We don't need 8 trays of mashed potatoes (though some may argue otherwise)
3. Bring a PLATE and UTENSILS! Let's try not to create too much waste!

Vegetarians are of course welcome, we just keep everything vegan so everyone can eat everything. Friends, family, and kids are welcome, either veg or respectful omni.

That should link it? I think. I'll try to find you as well.

I've got the seitan turkeys going in the oven now :D They take many hours, same as seitan hams, so I'm making them today, then I'll freeze 'em, then we'll rebake next weekend for eating.

It's great you're still having these every year. I've fallen off a social cliff lately, but I requested to join the facebook group for next time. I'm good about checking facebook :)
