Don't want to start a huge row about yes or no.

What I'd like to know is if there's a veg*n version of this available? The only ones offered here contain gelatine and I'm not happy about that at all... so wondering if there is such a thing so I could potentially just insist on one without? (I mean... even for non veg*n people - there are some who don't eat pork or beef due to their beliefs, so surely there's some alternative?)

EDIT: Forgot to mention - I'm in Ireland... but maybe some of you in the UK know the answer? It's usually not that different to us here on the green isle!

The ones in the US also contain gelatin. My daughter got hers on Friday and so far has had no side effects (although I do know that it takes a bit longer for this vaccine.) I do not allow gelatin in her diet, but made an exception in this case. Hope you find something that will fit your needs.

if one isn't available, i would consider this a valid exception. i think, in general, medical exceptions are valid. valid isn't the right word, btw, that i'm thinking, but it's all i can think of right now. LOL that kid's running around like crazy.

we're doing ours delayed, btw. i'm nervous about it, because he should be ready for it when we move to NZ, and i'll need to find a doctor whom i like first. the anthroposophical doctor that we have here has a few connections there, but we've only been able to find a similar doctor in a town about 30 minutes from where we're going to live. that wouldn't be a big deal if we had a car, but trying to figure out the train/bus process might be a bit much for me the first time or two. LOL

We do this delayed. I'll probably get their titres checked in the tween ages and go from there. I wish my mom delayed my MMR b/c a few months ago I was checked and my immunity is low. So now I have to decide if I want a booster or not before I have another baby (if I do). I'm only 25 too, which is pretty young for having 4 kids...I'd really be out of luck if I waited to have kids older and caught Rubella b/c I ASSumed I was immune.
