Ok, my crazy omnivore husband has taken an interest in Raw Food Veganism! LOL

From omni to raw foodist--isnt that crazy? he's so funny. i've been working for years to show him the good stuff about veganism, and he's like "no way." and now he's interested in raw foodism? HA! I love him.

f-ing nutcase.

Isn't that the way? You can suggest something to someone over and over and then one day they up and act like it's the great idea they just thought up themself!

Either way, sounds great!

LOL! What an extreme! Mine OD'd on vanilla soymilk. He drank an entire quart within 2 hours. He was consuming a gallon of Silk every 2 days. Freak! :D

He's too hilarious. He definately wants to eat more raw, and agrees with it's principles. He's worried about protien--but when isn't he worried about protien. I showed him Cyberactivist's experience and he was really ticked off (and eating chicken--local--at the time). So, it might work.

we'll see. I think it would be hilarious if he went to being a raw foodist or at least mostly raw food and some cooked tasties (such as our fav vegan restaurant--Su Tao).

just madness. lol!

My friend's mom has gone through many crazy diet changes and decided her and her husband should go raw. He thought it was just a phase like all the others, but a year and a half later, they're still eating raw. I guess his blood pressure has gone down, so that's good, but I'm sure he's still baffled...

How nuts for a meat eating man to want to go raw veg! --Good, though. Hope it works out. :) Much better for the planet if more people go raw.

Sorry to get off-topic but how's the studio going?

it's going well, slow and steady. But, i'm also already ahead of the game. :)

basicly, when studios start, it takes about 6 months before classes hit numbers of between 4 and 6 students. Most will be 1-3 students per class in the first few months. Usually, it takes a year to get to 10 students.

in my class, at only one month, my morning classes are slow (1-3), and my early evening classes (6 pm) are 4-6. My late evenings (8pm) are 2-3 students per. The lunch time classes are also 2-4. So, i'm way ahead of the game. I'm excited and grateful about this--as the students are slowly trickling in.

money is tight for ryan and i right now, which would make going raw rather rough (considering the special kitchen tools one needs). ryan had a bit of car trouble (transmission) so we were praying that it wouldnt' cost so much that we would need to get anothre car. THankfully, it doesn't look like we'll need to pay more than $250 for the repairs, which we can just barely manage without a credit card. So, we're very thankful about that too.

It's just slow and steady--keepin on the path! :) Thanks fo rasking!
