I just saw this at Whole Paycheck today, and it was on sale, so I got some. I was hoping it would be just as good as the other Vegenaises, and it is! Yum!!!

Reduced fat, flaxseed oil, olive oil, and just as tasty and creamy as all the others. I give it five stars. :smitten: :lick:

Oh, I haven't seen that one yet. I'll have to keep an eye open. It's good to know that it tastes like the original -- I hate buying something new and then finding it tastes like crap. :)

This is a good thing for me...I love Vegenaise and eat way too much of it! :) Hope I can find it in my nearby stores.

Thanks for the review. That is helpful because I also hate buying something new and letting it go to waste if it's not good.

I just tried it. I have to say, I'm disappointed. I don't care for the flavor at all. it tastes a bit "sour" or something. I love regular veganaise, and this doesn't compare favorably at all, if you ask me. the texture is weird too.
now I'm wishing I had bought the regular kind...

now I'm wishing I had bought the regular kind... I was just about to ask if the texture was the same or not. Looks like it isn't so I'll stick to regular vegan crack vegenaise instead.

yeah, it's got that weird starchy-gel quality to it. It lists tapioca starch as a main ingredient (obviously to replace some of the oil). it's not horrible, but definitely not the loveliness I was looking forward to...

I wonder if you got a bad batch. I am halfway through my jar, and it is creamy and tasty, creamier actually than the regular versions. Not sour either. Weird things can happen to it during shipping though.

Did you buy it at a Whole Foods? You can take it in with the receipt, say you didn't like it, and they'll give you your money back - it's their policy.

I have a major habit with the grapeseed oil version. Hope I like this one.
