November 1st Meetup - Ottawa

As explained in this thread (http://www.veggieboards.com/boards/showthread.php?t=108809), a wordwide VB meetup day is being planned for 1st of November (which is coincidentally also Wold Vegan Day). I've been asked to create a Ottawa thread for this event, so here you go!

I'm in! I'd love to meet some fellow Ottawa veg*ns! We should meet at a veg*n restaurant (like Sacred Garden Thai vegetarian :lick: ), or maybe have a potluck!

If this goes ahead, I HIGHLY recommend we meet at ZenKitchen (www.zenkitchen.ca) gourmet vegan restaurant. They just opened in June, and I went there for the first time on Saturday, and WOW, was the food ever good! It's 100% vegan, no worrying about cross-contamination, and it tastes absolutely fabulous. Check out the menu and see for yourself! The price is about mid-range, not too expensive. But the food tastes like it should be much more expensive. They even have a 100% raw vegan menu if any raw foodies want to join the meetup as well!
