Worldwide VB Meetup Day...Sunday, November 1st!

Per this thread (http://www.veggieboards.com/boards/showthread.php?t=108809), anyone interested in meeting on Sunday, November 1? I've got suggestions for possible spots in South Florida (Palm Beach and Broward counties).

I don't really know any good veg restaurants or anything between Palm Beach and Orlando, though I know some on both ends.

Since it's a Sunday, I might consider making the 3 hour drive up there, if there's enough interest, and if my work schedule allows. I usually work normal 9-6 week day hours, but when there's big projects, I sometimes have to put in overtime at night and on weekends.

I am in Clearwater which is a quick drive over one of the connecting bridges to get to Tampa. :)

I hope other FL folks join in this discussion. It would be really cool to get together! I think there are others in the Tampa area and I think there are a few in Central FL also. We just have to figure out where to meet and how to get everyone there!

We're in Miami Beach, but.... we might be in the keys on Nov 1 to celebrate our first anniversary. If that falls through though, I am definitely up for something!

We might be able to go to Gainsville but it is probably a little far for the South Florida folks. I think Orlando has some good places and is kinda centralized. I hope we can work this out!!

Tampa Bay!!! Brooksville, to be exact! Although it's not the most veg*n friendly city, we are most centrally located as far as the Eastern/Western coast and for North/South. Very convenient to Tampa Bay, Orlando, & Gainesville! Please keep me posted, as I would love to join!

Welcome to VB, buickboi96! I think Orlando is more "central" to the whole state, however. I really would like to see this "meetup" happen. If all you West coasters could get together and carpool to Orlando, that would ROCK! :D
