I missed the audio of the story because I was across the room and the TV was on mute, but I saw signs saying "leave wild animals in the wild," and the PETA logo, and it seemed that it was getting fairly prominent coverage. Anyone actually see this? Can you comment on how it was portrayed?

The only thing that I can comment on this is that the tiger should have crunched his trainer's testicles instead of his arm.

I saw it. They briefly showed the protesters and said something along the lines that PETA wanted the animals released. Then they showed fans holding a candle light vigil for Roy. I felt that, as short as the segment was, they misrepresented PETA's point. It made it sound like PETA wanted the animals in question to be returned to the wild, which of course, is impossible. It wasn't a long enough spot to show that PETA wanted said animals to be retired to a sanctuary, as well as protesting the use of animals in entertainment in general.
Anyway, maybe I'm being too picky. :vebo:
