Endangered Species Chocolate

Their dark chocolate is vegan and benefits rainforests/animals. I bought a bar of Dark Chocolate with Deep Forest Mint today. I thought it was delicious. It was a little over $2 for the bar and the label does state that it was made on a line that also transports products containing milk. I think that means they put milk and dark chocolate bars (finished product) on the same line, which doesn't bother me, but I was just warning you.

I bought mine at Walgreens.

They are quite good. My favorite flavor is Organic Dark Chocolate with Cacao Nibs, Yacon and Acai. You might have to go to a HFS to find the more unique flavors.

Yeah, Walgreens didn't have the largest selection. There was a milk chocolate, Deep Forest Mint, and Raspberry w/ Almonds.

I really wanted to try the Nibs one. But mint was yummy too.

Oh, hallelujah! I'm taking the Vegan Challenge, but I was about to have to jump ship over chocolate. It just so happens that the chocolate I love is Endangered Species 70% Cacao Dark Chocolate...nothing else will do, at least on the Southeast Coast. They even have it at my local Bubba Lion. On the West Coast, there's a brand of really dark chocolate with chili that will make you forget every not-so-vegan craving you ever imagined.

You just saved my bacon...so to speak.
