How can I get rid of the grass that grows in my brick walkway? I currently am weeding it out, but by the time I finish my house and do my mom's walkway ( her house is next to mine) I think the grass has begun to grow again! The walkways are approximatly 30ft in length each and about 3ft wide. I know of using full strenght vinegar to starve the grass, and boiling water- does anyone have any othe ideas? thanks

Sprinkle sea salt where you just pulled the grass up from. Also, before you pull, let some water penetrate down to the roots. That way you are more likely to get the root out when you pull.

\Ruthies idea with salt is similar to what we have awalys done. We mix up I high salt water solution and saturate the area..kill the grass, then pull and saturate again....now an idea my sister used was to pull all weeds out.. and she planted babbies breath and other desierd plants between the bricks.

I always thought she was nuts for going this...but my mother boils water and pours it on them. They die immediately.
