Hay everyone! Okay, i just have to ask, what is your favorite thing to eat? Do you even have a favorite? :hungry: what it the best thing, in your opinion, to make on a night for yourself? (or for breakfast or lunch for that matter)

I love tomatoes! Sliced tomatoes with fresh basil, a drizzle of olive oil, and a light sprinkling of salt is heavenly! A variety of fresh fruit is also yummy, and one of my favorite pig-out fruits is watermelon! :lick:

I have a new love for fuji apples.. Erm.. I love grapes, mangoes, strawberries, Honeydew (the best melon ever!), tomatoes with lemon juice squeezed on them, or a fruit salad of bananas, grapes, melon, and sliced apples with lime juice squeezed on it.. mmm...

Salad (lettuce+tomato+olive oil), fresh veggie plates, and surprise, b@n@n@!!! And any other fruit.
I especially like to blend frozen b@n@n@s with OJ.

Fujis are still too expensive here :-/ I'm eating Jonagolds these days which cost half as much.

Oh, I have to go with juicy tomatoes with basil drizzled with a bit of EVOO. I've been filling up on this the past few weeks with the harvest from my garden!

they are rather expensive... which is why I only bought 4 at whole foods. I should just try different apples at the farmer's market... I forget what kind they carry. I'll load up on the fruit more so next time. :)

Mangoes, blueberries, Strawberries, blackberries and frozen grapes!
Frozen white grapes are the best combined in the blender with a little white grape juice concentrate then topped off with a little sparkling water.
Kinda like super cold champagne.

i don't mean to sound condescending, but it really bugs me that you live in california, where there are a ton of organic apple farms, and you have no problem purchasing apples that have to be shipped from thousands of miles away.

I didn't think about the apples from an environmentalist perspective... Which is weird because that's why I'm starting to buy organic, or from the farmer's market anyway..

Homegrown apples are also better for your health (macrobiotic) !! Isnt it funny that what is best for the planet is best for you?!? And the animals. I love how that works out!!
