Hey everyone, I am looking for a shampoo reccomendation. I have fine hair, so I need a little volumizing, but I don't want something to strip all the oil of my hair. I have tried Burts Bees Very Volumizing and did not like it at all!

I second the Lush recommendation! I'm yet to have a bad shampoo from them, and as for Herbal Essences...tested on animals!

Has anyone tried Avalon Organics shampoo?

My boyfriend's Mum has quite a few Avalon Organics products and she raves about them. I don't know about the shampoos specifically, but I really liked the lemon roll on deoderant, so they seem to know their stuff with formulas

I agree, Lush is amazing.
For fine hair, I'd recommend Abba volumizing shampoo and conditioner. Aveda also has a volumizing tonic that could help.

I don't know what country you're in so it's hard to make recommendations, but I'm a huge fan of baking soda.
Yep, you read it right, baking soda. It works really well on my fine hair and doesn't weigh it down at all. It also keeps my cowlicks in check and keeps my hair from being "fly-away". It's also cheap as chips (a huge plus in my world :D ).

I have fine hair as well, and I found a few vegan shampoos that I like (They all say vegan right on the packaging):
LaCoupe Orgnx - I buy the one called "body"... it leaves my hair REALLY soft, and doesn't strip it. It's lightweight too, which is great for fine hair. (It's expensive, like 10 bucks a bottle! But I like it)
Down Under Naturals "Nude" - It's okay, the conditioner feels kinda cheap, like it doesn't rinse quite as clean as I'd like, but the shampoo is good. I like this one because it's 98% plant based, and from what I recall it has a lot less chemical-sounding ingredients than the Orgnx.
Live Clean - Inexpensive and pretty good. It's paraban free, DEA Free, the package is made from recycled materials & biodegradable. It leaves my hair REALLY shiny, to the point where I almost didn't like how shiny it was, haha.
Personally I like Orgnx best.

I use Big Sexy Hair, I got the bottles for a great deal at Ulta (not sure if they're still cheap). My hair is SUPER DUPER flat and straight, it has no hope, but this stuff kinda helps :p I've been using Samy's lately, I didn't care for the Volume one, but I got 2 brand new bottles for free from my Mom, the Smooth and Shine type, and I really like it. It doesn't really help volumize really, but it makes my hair look nice :)
For the Sexy Hair brand, they have different levels of "Big."

I have super fine hair too and I love Pureology. I alternate between the Nanoworks and the Volumizing. Seriously the very best products I've ever used (Pureology in general).
Also, hi from a fellow FL girl!:hi: I'm in Melbourne but lived in Boynton Beach for 7 years.:)
ETA: I've also found my conditioner makes a bigger difference than which shampoo I use and I use the above mentioned Pureology for that as well.

I've seen Pureology and my sister uses it when she can afford it, but I've never tried it because it's too darn expensive! Plus, I've only dyed my hair once (Mid-May) and I'm not really interested in keeping the color (a few highlights). :) I wish I could sample it, I've heard nothing but great things about it.
