Crystal Rock and Heat Rash.

So I've been using the liquid crystal rock deodorant for a while now and I pretty much am in love with the stuff.

But now that it's ridiculously hot outside (100F+ some days) I'm developing a heat rash under my arms from the moisture. I think it's that the crystal rock stuff doesn't seem to dry well and then on top of that my sweat....

What can I do to alleviate this? I really don't want to go back to using antiperspirants but the heat rashes are killing me.

I have recently had to stop using the liquid crystal deodorant due to a similar happening. Mine was more like contact dermatitis than heat rash but I think it sounds similar to what you're talking about.

I used it for a good while w/o any bad effects, then all of the sudden I developed a bright redness under my arm and the skin burned and itched and felt really tight. I eventually quit using the product entirely and thought if I'd just leave it alone it'd heal up.

My girlfriend's a nurse and I had her look at it and she said it looked like contact dermatitis. I have some burn cream that I've had for a while, and I used that on the irritated area for a couple weeks and it seems to have made it better.

I won't be using the liquid crystal again. I've switched back to a regular vegan deodorant again and so far everything seems fine.

If this sounds similar to your situation rissierissie, I'd recommend going and letting a doctor look at your affected areas. It's miserable, I know, to have a rash under your arms.

I used to use one of these...but was really allergic and stopped...wow seems alot of people are.
