What I state might be rather trivial, but I still like to post a new thread to show my support to this forum.
To mitigate global warming, besides being a vegetarian for ten years, for the past two years up to now and most probably will continue in the future, I haven't use warm water when bathing and turn on the air conditioner.
These practices not only save some money, but also lower CO2 emission, I think.
Thanks for reading.

I think that many little things can help and add up. If you don't mind taking a cold bath it's a good idea. In the summer time I usually take a cold/warm shower.
I also think about energy usage and try to use as little as possible. I don't use a bicycle because it's dangerous where I live to ride a bike. But I have a car that gets good gas mileage (Honda Civic). When I drive I try to combine trips and plan the trip to minimize driving distance. Where I live is very hot in the summer so I do use cooling in my house but it's evaporative cooling instead of air conditioning which is more energy efficient. I try not to use the cooler or furnace any more than I have to; I use them only when it's becoming very uncomfortable. I hardly ever watch TV. My computer is on a lot but I turn it off when not using it. I built it myself and one of the main goals I had was making it low power consumption. It averages 71 watts consumption for the computer and monitor. I use fluorescent lights and turn them off when I don't need them. When I'm using the computer at night I don't need to light up the whole room just the keyboard area so I use an LED spot light that only drains about 2 watts.
