Does anyone have a good pair of vegan hiking boots they can recommend Or have an idea of where to find them? I desperately need a really strong pair that has a lot of support. All of the ones I'm finding online look kind of flimsy.

The Snowdon Boot here: http://www.vegetarian-shoes.co.uk/off-road_-_hiking_wear/10032_0c.html is not flimsy in the slightest. :D

I've used the Airseal Para boot (I think) for hiking for many years:

I don't think I've been on any really long hikes with it, but it has served me well. If you don't want to buy online, you could go visit their store in Brighton.

Garmont makes a decent vegan hiker (high top) and Patagonia has the Release series of vegan trail runners/hikers (low top). I have the Release and they are just fine for gentler trails and trail running.

I have these. http://www.garmontusa.com/881052611.html They're expensive but worth it, they hold up really well through water and snow. They're also very comfortable!
Here's a bunch more outdoor/hiking shoes- http://www.zappos.com/search/vegetarian+hiking/filter/productTypeFacet/%22Shoes%22/gender/%22womens%22

I got mine off steepandcheap.com they are montrails and were cheap. You just have to wait for the special to pop up. Also try veganessentials.com

Trail Boots?
I was thinking of getting some of the Snowdons as recommended by Mr Falafel but they're over double the price of these. Are the Snowdon's twice as good? I don't mind paying that much if they'll last me years and years and be really good.
Will the cheaper ones feel cheap? I'm only going to be using the in the summer really, walking in the Lakes and Northumberland etc. So I don't think I need heavyweight boots but I don't want to buy the Trail Boots just because they're cheap and regret it later.
