Just read this month's Costco Connection magazine (July 2009, Volume 24, Number 7) and on p. 56, an article promotes the Kirkland Signature brand body soap.
The article specifically states the following:
"Costco Buyer Carolyn Sakai says the difference is that the formula for Kirkland Signature Body Soap includes 100 percent vegetable oil"
then it goes on to say the following:
"Many leading soap bars are made from synthetic detergent and include tallow (beef fat)".
So the implication is that the Kirkland Signature brand body soap is vegan!
I will need to verify with Costco about this, though.
