At this very moment I am scratching all of the bug bites all over my legs. Does anybody have any suggestions for products or oils that relieve bug bites? I tried to look some up on the PETA website, but none of the links work. (well, one does, but the company does not actually sell stuff that relieves the itichiness) I also tried going to the local organic-goods places, and I still cannot find anything. Please, :help:

Also, today (this is kind of embarrassing) a bumblebee flew up my pants- without my knowledge- and as I started walking, it stung me. Is there anything else that relieves the stinging feeling?

Fresh lemon juice, applied as soon after you get bitten as possible. I ought to have at least a dozen itchy bumps from mosquito bites on my feet and ankles, but I don't, because I rubbed lemon juice all over them. I can see the tiny red pinpoint spots where they bit me, but they never got swollen and itchy.

A paste of baking soda and water will usually do it or a baking soda bath if the paste isn't possible.

Calamine lotion. That's what my mom used to use. :)

Rubbing alcohol works too.

Cool water and a salt-water "paste" works also (salt not recommended if the skin is broken from scratching - ouch!)

I slap. Like there's a mosquito bite on my arm right now. When it starts to get tingly like it's going to itch I slap it and it relieves the itchy.

ETA: Probably stops itching the way that breaking your leg takes your mind off a headache though. Alternately: witch hazel

A guy at work told me to put a teaspoon under hot water and press it on the bites. Sounds silly but it's the only thing that's ever worked for me!!!

Extreme heat works for me too...you have to be careful not to really burn yourself, though. Other than that, nothing cures my itchies!! :(

Maybe take an antihistamine like benadryl? But they make you sleepy.
