I have to say, they are brilliant, and very addictive.

They are vegan; has anyone else tried them?

I just eat them hot, or cold, from the packet.

Is this in the UK? We have Soyrizo in the US and it's very good. Quite similar to the real thing. The spices hit it perfectly. The soyrizo is more like ground meat so it's great for burritos and such. if you can, get it. I'd love to try Redwood's but doubt i can get it. The chunks are weird to me though.

I love redwood chorizo :) I am very rarely in or near a shop that sells them but when I am I snap them up! They're so tasty cold-from-the-packet I almost never get around to cooking with them :p

Oh. That explains why I've not seen them.
Though your post reminds me of a "chorizo" recipe I want to try:

aoooo! i'm going to see if the health store does these, methinks they'd be lovely on my homemade vegan pizza.

I've tried them and liked it, but as I stopped eating meat when I was about 4 I never even ate normal chorizo, so the acid test was my organic meat loving papi:
He liked it in a sauce/hot meal, but isn't so sure it would work in a sandwhich or alone. But then norhing is ever going to be 100% like meat is it?
