I've been meaning to post this for awhile... I keep seeing people say they miss gummi bears, but you don't have to miss them :). There are two brands I've found, from what I know they both qualify as vegan, unless perhaps the sugar source is an issue? anyway, here they are..

The web site is under construction, but I'm pretty sure they're the ones. I have found these bears available at a couple HFS. Mainly Whole Foods Market in the bulk bins.

The other brand has been mentioned before, Edward & Sons.

Both are a bit expensive. The Sunridge Farms ones go for about $6.00 a pound and Edward & Sons sells them in 3.5oz/100g boxes for about $3.00. Anyway, just thought I'd share for those of you who are looking for them :). Yum!

The Let's Do Organic Gummy bears are wonderful! They sell them at the Co-op near my apartment.

I've had the Edward and Sons variety. They were OK, the flavor was good, but the texture was a bit off, not as chewy as traditional gummy bears, more like stale gumdrops. I thought they were extremely overpriced, but I've never been that much in love with gummy stuff in the first place. If you really love/miss gummy bears then I suppose they're worth it.

Dots are about the same and should be readily available.

For those of you in the Uk, you can get vegan gummi bears at holland & barret stores. They're a bit pricey at £1.25 a box, but they're pretty cool.

The Let's Do Organic Gummy bears are wonderful! They sell them at the Co-op near my apartment.

They are really good, but they do have a bit of a natural taste from the ingredients they use. I really enjoy it, but for those who might not the Sunridge brand tastes exactly like regular gummi bears to me and they're cheaper.

Those are the ones that Tri got me for my birthday (I'm vegan junk food isolated where I am). I really like them. :)

I tried some of the Let's do Organic ones. They didn't have the chewiness that I remember from gummy bears, but they tasted good. I was a little put off by the green ones, b/c I could taste the spinach.

DOTS are soooo not the same. yuck. pttoeee. yuck. :sick:
