Anyone from the Bay Area in Florida

Has anyone heard about this new law that they are trying to pass in Sarasota that will outlaw Organic farming!!! I don't have very many details and when I find them I will post them, just wondering if anyone else had heard about this craziness?!

Ok well apperently it is something that is going to affect the entire nation, its going to go through congress to consolidate the food and drug administration and make small farms and farming at your house illegal because all food is going to have to be inspected before it can be consumed, and not everyone is going to be able to afford the cost of processing. it is a big bill and i am still trying to sort through it but here is a link so you all can read for yourself http://www.govtrack.us/congress/billtext.xpd?bill=h111-875 . We all need to look into this and email our congress men and women to make sure that this does not pass! I am personally very into gradening and grow food hydroponically and I will not allow the government to tell me that I can't grow my own food, this is crazy!
