^ You are correct!!!! I know that PETA may have a bad reputation to some, but it even says on their UK site that these people test on animals.

Unfortunately I can't support it due to the same reason (as well as the fact that i have a credit card bill due shortly).

Ok I've just been told off on another forum also....I didn't know this. Jeez, there is so much to think about as a vegan. I was only doing the race for a goal to aim for in my fitness training anyway! just thought it might be a good cause to support along the way..... So how do other cancer research charities do their testing then if not on animals???

i'm now quite glad i never have any change on me when people ask for donations, could have been accidentally giving money to hurt animals

but i'm with dafodil on the "what ones don't"?
is there a thread about charities that do and don't? could be quite useful
gna have to go do a lil search now i thinks
