I ran across a name brand that's new to me - Sukhi's. I'm such a sucker because I have to try every new vegan thing that comes out. This is an Indian food company. They have three vegan products and a few more vegetarian ones. I actually bought all three and had the Chili Chicken and a few of their Samosas to round out the meal. The third vegan product, which I haven't tried yet, is their Channa Masala.

On to the good part... The Chili Chicken is soy-based meat with a ridiculously good tasting sauce. The sauce is not very hot, but full of flavor. There was one whole, very small hot chili pepper in there . The chicken had a good flavor and texture, although it wouldn't fool a meat eater. However, that meat eater definitely would not complain. This meal came with a piece of Nann (similar to pita bread), which is a common side for a dish like this.

The samosas were as good as any I have tasted. They were crispy & flaky and the stuffing (potatoes & beans) was pretty good. The included dipping sauce, called Chutney, was also some of the best I've tasted. It was tart enough without being overbearing.

I will come back and add my thoughts about the third dish when I eat it. In my opinion, this is some seriously good tasting Indian food. I have tasted quite a few frozen dinners, pouched dinners and canned foods. They usually range from pretty good to downright nasty. I have to rate these at the top of the heap. The meals cost $5 each and the Samosas cost $7 (but the Samosas are 2-3 servings). That might sound expensive at first, but when you consider that meals in Indian restaurants often run about $10, it puts things in perspective. I won't hesitate to buy them again.

I haven't seen those yet but your reviews sound good! And how cool is it that the chicken came with naan and the samosas came with chutney! Pretty impressive for a frozen meal. Those are two must have sides when it comes to indian food.
