I'm sick of shelling out every few months for new Macbeth shows. i love the style, but they don't hold up AT ALL. Very poorly made. Can anyone tell me soe of their favorite vegan shoes?
Note: I'm a guy and I'm looking for casual shoes or sneakers.

I've had good luck with a pair of "Simple" brand vegan shoes (specifically the "satire" style). I got them at least a year ago and I walk a lot in them and they still look fairly new (the tire sole is wearing down noticeably but it hasn't affected the shoes in any way yet). In addition to wearing well, they fit perfectly the first time I put them on, with no breaking in period. I will probably buy another pair of them soon. I paid $50-60 for them.
I also had good luck with a pair of Earth shoes but I paid significantly more for them (closer to $100).

I just found this site. I have no idea how these very casual shoes hold up but they are reasonably priced and support a wonderful cause.

^ Best vegan specific shoes ever
I've got a pair of their AirSole Boots, and they've lasted me since 1998.

When I can't shop at mooshoes, I just get vegan shoes from anywhere. For running, I got a new (last years model at 75% off) of Zoot Ultra shoes. AWESOME. Right now I'm wearing a $30 pair of Puma RS100 Injex. They are comfy and are wearing quite well.
Here's a pic:
It all depends on your shoe needs.

I have the same Simple shoes (a lot of the styles are unisex) and really like them. They're surprisingly comfortable and sturdy. I found mine at Nordstrom Rack for about $20~ if I remember right.

Geez if I could find them for that price I'd buy a couple of pairs! I think the black satire may be discontinued? When we visited the Mooshoes store in NYC they only had one pair left of a very small size and they were on sale rather cheap. And the mooshoes website only had a few sized left, last I looked. The Simple website doesn't seem to have the black ones at all :( I'm thinking of getting another pair, probably charcoal color.

I really should have gotten another pair as a backup, but my husband yells at me for doing that (granted, I have a bad habit of having a backup and never wearing it because I don't want to ruin it the way I did the first pair of shoes/shirt/whatever, so it was somewhat justified ).
Every now and then there's a ton of Simple shoes at The Rack. I guess they clear out the store inventory periodically. I've gotten several pairs of the Green Toe hemp shoes for $15 or so a pair.
I haven't gone in forever because I'm trying not to spend money on clothes, but now that I'm thinking about it, I may make a trip and see what they've got these days.

Payless Shoe Source usually has man made shoes, it may be all of their shoes, but don't hold me to that.
However if you'd prefer buying something online, here are a few good sites:
http://www.zappos.com (type in "vegan")
http://www.mooshoes.com
http://www.veganoutfitter.com
http://www.alternativeoutfitters.com (click "mens shoes")
http://www.veganchic.com/
http://www.planetshoes.com/ (type in "vegan" then click "mens")

all the simple ones i like seem to be made of silk  dead bug shells in shoes

erm is it just me or does silk not seem to be a very durable material to be making shoes out of?

silk is actually very strong for its weight and density (think parachutes). its still bug houses though. :(

These are expensive, but every pair of asics I've owned has lasted me over a year so it might be worth it!
ETA: Free shipping, too. :)

I also second the Tom's shoes suggestion, but I know most men aren't crazy about the slip on look. I absolutely love their cause, though I've been dying to get a pair myself lately!
