Green Festival Chicago (May 16th/17th)

I just found out about this through MeetUp.com ( http://www.meetup.com/ChicagoVegetarians/calendar/10209878/ ). It's this Saturday and Sunday at Navy Pier.

Chicago Soydairy (Temptation, Teese, Dandies) and The Chicago Diner are going to be there. :lick: (Possibly others. My computer is being fussy, and won't let me see the entire list.)



I want to go really bad. Both days. :lol: I wish I had someone to go with, though. I feel going with my mom would suck all the fun out of it. And I would be absolutely terrified to go by myself. xD I always need at least one familiar face, and I don't think it's smart for a a sixteen year old to be by herself at Navy Pier. :p


I haven't checked on the weather, though. I heard it's supposed to be warm...? (EDIT: Around 70* F both days, but with thunderstorm chances.)

I may have to see about going there after I get off work, maybe I can get my sister and /or BF as well. Sunday is out, I'm working a spay day at the Anti-Cruelty Society. I'm from the far south suburbs, is that anywhere near you?

Hmmm, maybe I'll check it out. I was planning to stay in and relax this weekend, but maybe it would be neat to check out the festival.

I'd go with you! I live on the northside, near Irving Park and California. Sorry, i'm really bad with Chicago locations! :p

But this sounds like a great idea, and we should all meet up to keep each other company :D
