This is the most incredible TV ad I have seen so far, it just came out in Germany! How can anyone actually go to eat there after seeing this?!?!?!
To view it go to this link:

I've seen quite a few similar ads here in the states, and unfortunately, it doesn't seem to make the kind of impression one might expect.

has anyone seen the break-free egg thing ad? the chickens were in some sort of meeting and the one of them was all worried that her eggs wouldn't satisfy people... sheesh.
It's amazing how glorified they made the farm scene look. If they had showed chickens in realistic conditions and 3 computer animated cows came in and did the same thing then I think the ending thought would be much more opposite this one.
Perhaps PeTA could make such an add. An actual chicken barn with the same cows coming in and doing the same thing. Hmm...

Hmm, I did not even notice that. It just seemed strange to me that BK is showing the chicken that were "out of luck" , and that customers would feel like eating them as a result of viewing this ad.
But then again, I can NOT understand how omnis can be completely untouched by Chicken Run neither! I guess there is some "reality-fiction" switch in their brain or something.

That a good idea!
The only question is how known this ad is, otherwise people might not get the idea..
There "farms" in the ads are even worse when it's about milk or eggs. With meat, people can at least make a connection between the animal to the meat, but when they show you a happy cow giving away her milk, why should you avoid dairy?
BTW, the biggest milk company here in Israel has lately started to produse soy-milk. In the ads a green leaf cow is being milked for soy...

That's a cute ad :)
You know, when I first saw this ad is when I started this thread. I don't know how known it is, to tell you the truth, because I have not seen it on TV any more. I guess that a lot of people are starting to think of the meat in their whoppers when they see this ad. Maybe. And maybe this is why I have not seen it any more. On their website you can vote for their ads. I gave it the maximum points, because I wanted the ad to be around long enough to wake some people up.
