I was making some rye bread a few days ago...and broke my mixer. We called KitchenAid and they said that because we don't live close to a service center, they would mail us a pre-paid box to send it to them and they would fix it and send it back to us.

I have had the mixer about 4 years, so I certainly was not expecting them to be so nice! :)

Wow! I've got a KitchenAid food processor, so it's nice to know they'll do that if it breaks!

KitchenAid is a class act. I dont' know if everyone knows that KA is the non-commercial version of Hobart.
I have exclusively KA products (if KA makes it - I own it). I've not once had to replace one of my KA products (and I've had my food processor and mixer over 10 years). Good to know if or when they do break - they will be there :)

i would LOVE to have a kitchen aid mixer and food processor. seriously. i look at pictures of them in catalogues and online. mmmmm. kitchen appliance porn. :D

I love my KitchenAid! I probably would never have splurged on it, but it was a gift from my gf's mom. She bought a new one and gave us this barely-used one! It amazes me every time I use it.

Kreeli, my husband has put a ban on new kitchen appliances for me. I am dying for a food dehyrater and a juicer. He won't let me collect anymore appliances. I too am reduced to "appliance porn". ;)

I absolutely love my KitchenAid Stand Mixer. I make almost all of our bread, so it has been a godsend, as well as the million other things that I've found it can do. I bought it 2 years ago with a work bonus and have never had a minute's problem with it. I also have a KA Blender that we received as a wedding gift and it ROCKS. I'm saving up now for the food processor and the programmable coffee maker.

Hee - "kitchen appliance porn." Is that why I get so excited when the Williams Sonoma catalog comes? :hump:
