I hear of work friend about window box.
He live in flat and he grows flowers in his.

I will move around so I need a garden that portable and window box sounds good idea to me, how am I making window box and what can I realistic expect to grow inside one? :)

I am thinking to grow vegetables or salad items and not flowers in mine.

Thank you!

Nicky.

Nicky if you have one you can grow garlic, chives, kale (can be very pretty), tulip or other bulbs, maybe peas or fava beans, and maybe some sage or parsley if you can find it. These are all cold weather crops to some degree.

If you like I can try to print the Latin names of any of these that you do not know the American-English name of so that you can cross-reference it.

Thank you Kamilla :)

Kale is nice, I like that it like Spinach I think Mike in work cooked me some and I enjoyed it very much :)

The frosts come soon and I am glad that I can grow kale in a window box, it is nice to grow your own food I think.

Many thanks,

Nicky.
